The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services covers Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services and assistance programs – food assistance, cash assistance, Medicaid, child development and care and State Emergency Relief.
The 2-1-1 helpline provides referrals to programs to assist with food, housing, financial assistance, utility assistance and more. Help is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, from anywhere in the state of Michigan. Michael's Place provides support and advocacy for children, teens, and adults grieving the death of a loved one and educates the community on the impact of grief.
