Sheryl Dey

Sheryl joined the Advisory Board in 2024. She retired from NLCMHA in 2023 and was excited to receive the invitation to join Traverse House. Sheryl has 42 years' experience as a social worker. She worked as a mental health and substance use disorder therapist, an ACT advocate, a case manager, and as an administrator and supervisor during her career. She continues to volunteer with the Northern Lakes Recovery Celebration Committee and Hope Happens Here Drop-in Center Committee.

Although Sheryl has retired, she continues to provide supervision for those seeking the State of Michigan's substance use certification and to those seeking licensure in the social work field.
